IT STARTED AS A PLAY

 The play was "Smuggler's Ransom" and was about a James Bond-type secret agent who gets assigned to rescue a captured Bible smuggler in Cold War Romania and winds up getting saved himself.  It was later adapted to a video and is available online.  I later felt that the main character, Bill Donley, needed more treatment.  How would he, as a newly saved counter-assassination agent, function at all?  That caused Part 2: THE CHASE DISPATCH.  Finally I gave Donley closure, personally and professionally, in Part3: LAMBS, WOLVES AND LIONS.   Then I rewrote SMUGGLER'S RANSOM as a narrative and put them all together.  As always, I hope it's a blessing.  Available online from several outlets.

WHY THE NEW "DUNE" REMAKE IS DANGEROUS

  I read, and loved, the Frank Herbert Novel DUNE about 40 years ago.  I also watched the two different movies (the second a miniseries) with mixed feelings.  But when I watched this latest version, alarm bells went off.        The main character's title in the book and the earlier versions was "Maud 'Dib".  I forget what it meant.  But while watching this latest version, I couldn't help but notice that it was changed to "Mahdi".        "Mahdi" has a meaning outside the "Dune" franchise.  It's the tile of the Muslim Messiah; the one who will exterminate those who refuse to convert to Islam.         Muslims have a right to promote their faith in this country, however much I oppose it.  But when an established story is CHANGED to accommodate them, it's time to take notice.   As for Islam itself, my usual response to their challenges is this:  Islam came along over 6...

"Scientific Proof"

 " Scientific Proof" is that which is repeatable, demonstrable and observable. Period. In other words, the complete absence of transitional forms, and the millions of years required to make evolution at all believable, are outside the realm of science.  And yet, they have insisted on calling it science (and even saying "science" when they mean "evolution").  Their position was logically untenable, no matter how loudly and authoritatively they insisted on it.   When evolutionists finally realized that, they invented something called "historical science" as opposed to "operational science". Now they have a form of "science" that doesn't have to submit to experimentation and observation. Intro to my autbiography OUTSIDER

      Based on the reception of my other books, OUTSIDER will never be a bestseller.  In fact, I doubt it'll ever be finished.  That's probably why I feel constrained to put what I've written as an introduction (so far) here on the blog.        I will never know what it's like to be anybody but me.      I will never know what it's like to be part of an identified minority: ethnic, religious, national or linguistic.      But I know what it's like to be on the outside.
